Board Games I Hate & Why!

Can't Stop - Any game with potential turn one kills are ridiculous & not to mention its a dice game...
Settler's of Catan - You can't win without great die rolls, and even if you have them, its retarded so its so unfair.
Ticket to Ride - Hopelessly boring, with minimal stategy involved... How often can you ambush someone else's route?
San Juan - Just play Puerto Rico instead or be at the mercy of the cards you draw...
Carcassonne - Wow, I have a choice? Really? But I only draw one tile a turn! =(
World of Warcraft TCG - For its hopelessly horrible Organised Play Programmes...
Cash & Guns - Really dumb. Period.

You hate dice games, period. Anyways, i agree that some dice games does makes you feel love and hatred at times. We really wan people to believe we sorta structured our way along the dice rolls to secure our victory when we win, but it really weak. Plus, we hate them when we think alot and we lose. Happens to me sometimes in catan.

Fully agree with San Juan, now even got Race for Galaxy liao. (check out my 1st session review)
I thought Cash and Guns are not bad thou, must have ridiculously talkative players like you then nice la. ROFL!!

WoW TCG is coming back... hopefully. haha

everygame has some sort of randomness i guess. I guess its how we cope with it. but being overly dependant on luck kinda screws the game up. since i think we're focusing more on strategy here.

yucky games...like...ticket to ride...catan(its TRUE!)...manila(dice plus money somemore=your money is in the dice fate)...leg-leg siong(not appealing in anyway)...

should appreciate more games like p.r. ... p.g. ...craylus...taj mahal...r.e. ...race of e g...etc...so much more nice games...one dice game i find not bad is the vaspahan...

Ya, Yspahan is actually quite good in the sense it works quite fast.
Throw dice and min. AP., but still rewards good planning.

I definitely don't mind trying new games...haha. There's always a novelty in trying new stuff for me. But I don't really like war games. Anyway, my 1st choice's Twilight Imperium! So that I'd know if I'm able to store the components...haha. Still haven't opened my set yet.

hmmm, i think really need to play on the floor. No matter whose house we are at.
And to really enjoy it, need to schedule the teaching before a meal, then go for meal, then chiong all the way.
So that dun need to stop halfway or distracted because of hunger.

From my 1st play,the beauty of the game comes from being able to negiotiate and do some intrigure via voting. These elements needs geniune participation,and if the game is to be rushed thru, i rather not play. I dun wan to write a bad review on this game.Hee.In addition,the game also satisfy the war-gamer gene in some of us,sometimes you just wan to attack relentlessly.It can be quite fun i think. ahah

The last time i played it is in the cafe. Sofa, 3 players only so we din used much space too.
Unless we can get a reasonable table, if not the floor is the way to go.
